Mike Forbis

Founder and CEO

Mike is the quintessential “lead by example” founder/owner/company leader. He has over 50 years of experience in the construction industry and won’t hesitate to jump in and help wherever he sees a need. He began working in construction at the age of 16, where he gained invaluable experience working in the field. Mike joined the Carpenter’s Local Union 345 in Memphis, Tennessee after college and completed the four-year Carpenter’s Apprenticeship Program at William R. Moore College of Technology. After years of providing quality service to clients throughout the mid-south, Mike established F&F Construction in 1980.


Mike has extensive experience and contacts throughout the southern U.S. retrofitting and updating older structures and building ground-up facilities for various industry clients including financial institutions, healthcare, assisted living, education, worship facilities, restaurants, manufacturing, government, mixed-use developments, etc.


Along with savoring time with his wife, other family and friends, Mike is honored to partner with remarkable organizations like Serving Orphans Worldwide (SOW), People for Care & Learning (PCL), Buy-A-Tree. Change-A-Life, as well as local non-profits, to make a positive difference in the lives of those they serve.
